De Prijs van de Hemel plot

Like many boys, thirteen-year-old Pablo Paulino Rosario dreams of becoming a great professional football player. And where most boys remain a dream, Pablo could later be one of the very best. Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord want to add him to their selection. And Pablo's trainer at the Amsterdam football club DWS, where Frank Rijkaard and Ruud Gullit started their football career, thinks that his pupil can become even bigger than Gullit. Unfortunately, there are also pitfalls... Because Pablo often misses lessons at school, he performs well below par. Moreover, he has little to rely on the support of family and social safety nets. In order to develop his talents, Pablo will therefore have to wrestle himself from his environment. Jack Janssen follows the potential top player between his thirteenth and fourteenth year. A year in which a lot is at stake for him...
