De Poolse Droom plot

Karin Kooijman, born and raised in Appelscha, cycled in her adolescence along a deserted country road past several farms. In all weathers, she passed Polish employees on their way to fields to pick flowers. Their way of life intrigued her. 'What must the situation be in Poland if they want to work here in the scorching sun or pouring rain? In this documentary, Kooijman goes in search of an answer.
