In the Green Heaven, director Roel van Dalen follows the 'green teacher' Bert Ydema from Amsterdam. For almost forty years, master Bert has put his soul and bliss in instilling a love for nature to thousands of Amsterdam school children. In the middle of Amsterdam, in the Mr. A. the Roostuinen in the Westerpark. City children who often have hardly ever rooted in the earth with their hands, who sometimes don't even know whether a stone sinks or floats in the water.
