De Grens van Frans Bromet plot

From behind his camera, Frans Bromet (1944) questions his subjects. In this documentary, former trainee David de Jongh turns the tables and subjects Bromet to his own method. Bromet's unwillingness to reveal himself is immediately apparent: "That scent in the soul, I'd rather do that with someone else." Thanks to stories from close friends and colleagues and through striking quotes from Bromet's films, we gain insight into his background and working method in a documentary about safety, borders and 'the small' that characterizes daily life.
