De Earring & Ik plot

When the Golden Earring suddenly ceases to exist in 2021, their countless fans are in shock. Guitarist George Kooymans has been suffering from the incurable disease ALS for some time and therefore giving a farewell concert is no longer possible. The Earring fans do not leave it at that. A grand farewell is organized in Rotterdam Ahoy, where almost a thousand amateur musicians together bring a musical tribute to their heroes. The film shows (part of) the concert and tells the life story of five (amateur) musicians, also Earring fans, on their way to the concert.
