De Baby plot

Documentary about the history of the Dutch baby in hiding Anneke, who after 65 years is confronted with her emotionally charged past. In 1942 the Jewish baby Anneke is handed over to a courier by her parents. Because they cannot go into hiding as a family, Anneke is placed with a foster family. When shortly after the war it became known that her parents had been murdered, Anneke was transferred to her aunt and uncle in the United States. 65 years later, two Dutchmen independently contacted Anneke: Cora, the courier who smuggled her from Amsterdam to The Hague, and Fred, her brother in hiding.
