Many Germans who supported the Third Reich remained silent about their experiences after the end of World War II. Within their families, the topic often remained undiscussed – a social taboo. The interviews in this documentary are based on a psychological approach to gain insight into the thoughts and feelings of those involved at the time and how they assess their own actions today. The result is a multifaceted insight into Germany's collective subconscious and the mechanisms of decades-long repression.
