Das Kongo Tribunal plot
For twenty years, a civil war has ravaged Congo. This permanent conflict, also called World War III because of the direct or indirect involvement of major powers, has so far claimed more than six million victims. In the midst of this chaos, director Milo Rau sets up a symbolic tribunal in which almost all parties participate. His shots from remote villages and inhospitable mining areas, and the registration of the trial in the specially set up tribunal show a complex story of an economic war.
