Daniel Schmid - Le Chat Qui Pense plot

Co-directors Pascal Hofmann and Benny Jaberg profile the Swiss director Daniel Schmid (1941-2006). After being raised in a hotel near Mount Flimserstein, Schmid migrated to Berlin and acted in the German New Wave scene. He then directed his own films. Filmmaker Douglas Sirk was his subject in a documentary. One of Schmid's operatic productions used a giant camera prop as a moving stage. Hofmann and Jaberg offer a portrait of this man in a romantic cinematic style.
