Dan pod Suncem plot

“Dan pod Suncem” is a visual poem in which the day slowly emerges from the night, only to return to it later. The transition from night to day is depicted as a journey from the countryside to the city. Natural sounds and voices are heard on the soundtrack. The film begins with images of a nocturnal landscape, with changes in light and dark, shadows. A pregnant woman symbolizes the beginning of creation; further there are only amorphous forms, as in a dream. With the arrival of the morning comes more color, depth, volume, life. In the middle of the day, the climax is reached in the bustle of the city: heavy traffic, swarming with people. The atmosphere is no longer meditative, but full of life and awareness. Towards the end of the day there is a transition to inner experience and perception. Nature and man come together.
