Crossing the Ice plot

"Antarctica. A frozen, dead wasteland."

Two Australian adventurers, James Castrission and Justin Jones, venture the perilous journey across Antarctica to the South Pole and back again with no assistance whatsoever - two men alone, carrying their own food and shelter for a 2,237 km journey across the barren glacial expanse. Many have already tried it, without success. After much planning and preparation, Cas and Jones embark on one of the last great Antarctic odysseys, but they find themselves in the same situation as Captain Scott before on his journey to the South Pole: there's a Norwegian on the ice! He is more experienced, wants the same record and started earlier. A remarkable journey with an inspiring and emotional ending.
