Cristina Branco plot

Michel Schöpping first heard Cristina Branco sing in 1998, in Amsterdam's Staatsliedenbuurt. It was her first professional concert. She was a special, but totally unknown talent. Cristina and Custodio together with Michel made 'Cristina live in Holland', her first CD. The couple's manager had Cristina and Custodio read JJSlauerhoff's translated poems, about Lisbon, the Tagus, about life and death. Surprised and intrigued, they decided to set these poems to music.
