Contents Inventory plot

Every lamp, every cup, every gadget – often homeowners who have lost their home, for example in a fire, have to write everything down from the insurance company. But such a long list never shows what is really of value and what is not. And that's exactly what filmmaker Irene Lusztig asks about. Nine hundred homes in California were reduced to ashes in a 2020 wildfire. Lusztig, whose house was spared, interviews some of her neighbors on the charred remains of their house.
