Colour Bar plot

The story of the Belgian-Congolese Roland Gunst in search of his identity. Roland has a black mother and a white father. He grew up in Congo, as a white outsider. When the family moved to Belgium, he turned out to be an outsider here too. Who am I actually? What does it mean to be 'métis'? Roland makes the identity problem a subject for discussion within his family for the first time, but also looks for answers in literature and in other métissen.
