Catching a Predator plot

Based on the information from the investigation, this documentary tells the story of the conviction of serial rapist Reynhard Sinaga. From his flat in Manchester, the student kept an eye on men who were traveling alone after a night out. He invited them over for a drink or to call a taxi, but he drugged and raped them instead. According to police, Sinaga claimed more than 200 victims between 2015 and 2017, many of whom have remained unknown. Filmmaker Liza Williams closely follows the police officers and shows how they try to get Sinaga convicted.
