Abo Ikoyo is a 17-year-old Belgian-Congolese girl. When she delves into Congo's colonial past for a school assignment, she also discovers a lot about her own family history: her ancestors' resistance against colonial rule, a great-grandfather who was the driver of Patrice Lumumba, the devastating war and the blood minerals.
