Cábala Caníbal plot

Through the Jewish history of his family, filmmaker and critic Daniel V. Villamediana tries to get a grip on the hidden memory of the Spanish Kabbalah. He uses the complex structure of the Hebrew text as the basis for a new cinematographic language. Stories of the diaspora, exile and exodus from family history merge with Spanish history, in which heterodoxy, freedom and rebellion have always been threatened.
