BV Het Gezin plot

In the Netherlands, about twenty thousand children have been placed out of their homes. And eight hundred of them live in one of the nearly two hundred so-called 'family homes'. Miriam and Frans Erlings run such a family home, with six foster children, two of whom now live independently. Miriam and Frans have to find a balance between emotional involvement with the children and the business professionalism of a household on a daily basis.
