Budrus plot
"It takes a village to unite the most divided people on earth."
Ayed Morrar has retired from his comfortable job with the Palestinian Authority when he learns that the Israeli government plans to build a separation wall across his small agricultural village of Budrus. He organizes a meeting at City Hall inviting Israeli citizens and he forms a movement with the motto "We can do it". To everyone's surprise, Ayed becomes the leader of the first unarmed movement to successfully preserve and even expand Palestinian territories. A feat made possible in part by Ayed's 15-year-old daughter Iltezam who starts a women's contingent and quickly moves to the front lines.
