Bovenbad plot

Bovenbad takes place within the four walls of the top floor of the Amsterdam Marnixbad. There the makers follow the swimming lessons, movement exercises and free swimming of various groups of Amsterdammers; pregnant women, parents with babies, school children, immigrant women and the elderly. We see how in every phase of life there is a struggle to keep one's head above water. And also how swimming is a social event for young and old.
