Blue Notes & Higher Grounds plot

This is a musical portrait of the Zeeland Seaside Dixieland Jazz Band from Bruinisse, made up of older men. The film is about the healing power of making music together as you grow older and have to say goodbye to things in your life. The men's world shrinks, yet they keep playing. One by one, they become a little shaky, but the music keeps them going.
