Black Roots plot

This documentary shows the faces of black men, women and children, telling stories of generations of oppression. First up are men who are active in civil rights movements and in music and who fight against racial discrimination. Their stories are interspersed with their blues music. Then the floor is given to random residents of the slums, which paints a picture of the racial politics of the early 1970s.
