Bhopali plot
"The Bhopal disaster did not happen. It IS happening."
'Bhopal' represents the greatest industrial catastrophe in history: the spill at the Union Carbide plant on the night of December 2–3, 1984. The cocktail of toxic gases that escaped from the plant killed thousands and caused serious and permanent health problems in hundreds of thousands more. So much for history, because this documentary shows that the disaster is not over. Because the polluted site has never been properly cleaned, about 30,000 people have to rely on heavily polluted drinking water. Sidesh is one of many children in Bhopal with serious birth defects or illnesses. They are received in the Chingari Rehabilitation Center, with the limited resources available.
