Ricky dreams of making the music group Staff Benda Bilili the best band in Congo-Kinshasa. The musicians are physically handicapped and ride around on special needs bicycles. They are the stars of the ghetto that Roger, a street kid, is eager to join. By singing and dancing they try to survive and escape the misery and dangers of street life. Staff Benda Bilili was followed for five years, from the first rehearsal to their triumph at the international festivals. Benda Bilili! is the story of a dream come true.
