Beeldmacht plot

It is a phenomenon that has come over from America: citizens who film police actions with their mobile phones. Conversely, the police films the same citizens with bodycams and drones. In this documentary, filmmaker Juul Op den Kamp investigates why filming is taking place and what the consequences are for the relationship between citizens and the police. Do image recordings contribute to transparency and a shared reality or do they cause increasing distrust and polarization?
