Ballroom Dancer plot

Archive footage shows how Slavik experienced his ultimate moment of glory in 2000 with his then dance partner. In that year, the Ukrainian became Latin American dance world champion for the first time. A successful career follows. It is now ten years later. Slavik has stopped dancing for years, the body is a bit jaded, but he is eager for a comeback. Together with his dance and love partner Anna, he wants to make another attempt to shine on the dance floor. Can she handle the temperamental and demanding nature of her lover? And will love get in the way? The documentary follows the duo as they travel the world attending various international dance competitions, during rehearsals and in hotel rooms.
