"The Incredible Lives of Rope-Masters"

Documentary about the ingenious and erotic tying of female models by sadomasochistic masters who have elevated rope knots to an art form. The age-old game of tying and ritual torment exists in different cultures, but the ceremonial detail and amazing mastery with which these women are tied down proves to be as quintessentially Japanese as flower arranging and tea serving. The art of kinbaku, as sadistically erotic rope tying is called in Japan, was traditionally discussed in secret papers, but has now taken on an almost openly confessed form.
