Auk Nr. 8 plot

"Whatever you have imagined, prepare to be surprised"

The desperate inhabitants of a Ukrainian city work every day in small illegal mines. They dig everywhere: in abandoned mines, under the cellars of demolished buildings and even in their own gardens. Despite being the grandson of the former director of a large Soviet factory, fifteen-year-old Yura is one of these illegal miners. He is responsible for his family and for the future of his two sisters.
