Atelier de Conversation plot

People from all over the world gather weekly in the Conversation Workshop of the Public Library in the Center Pompidou in Paris to practice their French. War refugees sit next to victims of political persecution, along with businessmen and smooth students. As different as the members are, they have one goal in common that connects them all: to learn the language and find companions while living abroad and, if necessary, survive there. In this hopeful place, social and cultural boundaries dissolve. People who would otherwise never have contact meet here.
