Anyadin... plot

"What if the river could tell stories..."

The Rocket is a hundred-year-old paddle steamer that still regularly departs from the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka to transport passengers to various destinations along the river. The two-storey ship has visibly seen better days, but is a popular means of transport for travelers of all walks of life. As soon as the wheels on the steam whistle have been set in motion, this observational film takes the viewer on board. As the camera roams the packed deck, you experience fights among friends, hear the story of a young mother and catch spontaneous conversations about God, politics, the meaning of life or the food on board.
