Antidote plot
What is the price of speaking the truth to those in power? In Putin’s Russia, it can cost you your life. This documentary follows three people who dare to stand up. The first is an anonymous Russian scientist who developed poison until he discovered that the government was using it against dissidents. He became a whistleblower and had to flee the country. Then there is political activist Vladimir Kara-Murza, who was poisoned twice and is now on trial for treason. After his arrest, his wife Evgenia became a prominent voice for the opposition. The key figure is Christo Grozev, a Bulgarian journalist and head of investigative collective Bellingcat.
