Anamnesis plot

How do you portray a murderer? The German filmmakers Chris Wright and Stefan Kolbe had many years of close contact with Stefan S., who 15 years ago killed his colleague after stalking her. In his last year in prison, he is being groomed for his return to society. He follows various forms of therapy, including the 'Masculine and Identity' support group. Because Stefan does not want to be recognizable in the picture, a puppeteer re-enacts conversations that Stefan had with rescuers. While Stefan makes such a gentle impression on the filmmakers, the petrified expression on the hand puppet's face also evokes uneasy feelings.
