"Swimming against the digital tide"
dr. Florian 'Doc' Kaps had always been charmed by analog image and sound carriers, but when the very last Polaroid factory threatened to be demolished in the middle of the digital pace of peoples, he took action. The famous instant photography had to be preserved. However, the eccentric, imaginative Austrian is not a businessman. In the few years that this documentary follows Doc, something changes in the zeitgeist: other analog advocates are also making themselves heard. A small group swims vigorously against the current, freeing themselves from the tech giants who have us in their uneasy grip.
