Amazona plot

"She left to find answers. Now her daughter wants some."

The story is about Val and Clare: mother and daughter. Val left her family behind when her oldest daughter died suddenly, and she fled into the Colombian jungle in search of her identity. Clare was only 11 years old when her mother left her. Now that she's pregnant herself, she wants to try to understand. She decides to confront her mother in order to heal the wounds of the past and define motherhood in her own terms. Together they explore the boundaries between responsibility and freedom, the power of love and the meaning of family on an intimate journey.
