Alter Ego plot

A diptych about the fortunes of a Western psychiatrist in a culture completely foreign to him. From 1982 to 1985, Joop de Jong worked in Guinea-Bissau with the tasks of reorganizing psychiatry, building a new psychiatric center, tracing and treating patients in the interior and contacting traditional medicine. The latter is the key.
