Everyone can be a star and beautiful and popular. Then why aren't you? Our dreams are big, wild and infinite. In an environment of 'more is better', 'enough' no longer seems to exist. The documentary is a visual time document in which the pursuit of the highest attainable in all facets of life triumphs; social status, perfect looks, flashy career, the ideal partner and great taste. The film follows four young, creative, ambitious people who apparently lead a shiny and happy life. Gradually it becomes clear what it takes from them to keep all the balls in the air. What do they demand of themselves? How do they arrive at that standard? Don't they just want too much? Slowly their doubts and fears come to light. The film offers a look behind the scenes; the greater the illusion of outward success, the more wry the lonely hours at home prove.
