Alarm plot

Always on standby, 24/7, volunteer firefighters respond to calls where the stakes are often much higher than just a fire. Instead of the spectacular action, the documentary "Alarm" focuses on the quiet moments in between, revealing the emotional burden, doubts, and resilience of the emergency responders. While no one can predict when, where, or how the next disaster will strike, the film makes it palpable that one thing is inevitable: that another moment will come when these people must rise up and face a crisis head-on.
