Alaaf You plot

'Fastelovend', 'Fasteleer' or simply 'Carnival', these are the names of the well-known folk festival, which starts annually in Cologne on the Thursday before Ash Wednesday, exactly at 11:11 am with the opening of the street carnival as a crucial stage on the Old Market. 'Alaaf You' is a documentary about the Cologne carnival with videos submitted by fans and opponents of the clownish party. Producers Eric Benz and Baris Aladag are therefore bringing the first carnival film recorded by smartphone users to the cinema and want to send a message: the so-called 'fifth season' in Cologne is not a dusty event, but an opportunity for cultural exchange.
