Al Basateen plot

In 2015, the Basateen al-Razi district of Damascus was completely razed to the ground – in retaliation for the uprising against the Assad regime. Two former residents try to remember their old neighborhood, once known for Damascus's oldest orchards. The regime had ambitious plans for the area: the construction of a completely new city, Marota City.
