Abolição plot

In 1988, one hundred years after the abolition of slavery in Brazil, Zózimo Bulbul made this documentary, a historical analysis of racial issues in his country. He did this not only through in-depth archival research, but also through interviews with key figures involved in the preservation of black culture. He also brings the past to life, such as the symbolic signing of the treaty that abolished slavery by Princess Isabel, with which above all a political reputation had to be saved.
