A Quiet Inquisition plot

Nicaragua is one of the five countries in the world where abortion is prohibited under all circumstances. At the public hospital where they work, midwife Carla Ceratto and her colleagues face difficult choices every day. Do they have to act according to a law dictated by the Catholic Church? Or do they have to save the lives of women, often adolescents, who are carriers of a fetus that is not viable, but that is considered alive by the court.
