A 60 Km/h plot
The Citroën Méhari is a lightweight off-road vehicle: 600cc, 2-cylinder, 28hp, with a maximum speed of sixty kilometers per hour. Uruguayan Mario Sabah decides to tour the world in this car. An old dream that he breathes new life into at fifty, when he is divorced and feeling lonely. He quits his job, repairs the blue Méhari that once served as a family car and, with his camera always within reach, begins a journey that takes three years and 150 thousand kilometers, crossing forty-five countries and five continents. His two sons go with him. This quickly leads to tensions. After a clash of characters halfway through Latin America, Mario continues alone, all the way to Canada. In the American far north he puts the Méhari on the boat to Spain, from where it continues through Europe, Asia and even Australia. Defying heat, rain, dirt, chaos and quarrels. With stamina, far too little money and at an all-important pace.
