66 Months plot
Director James Bluemel and producer Gordon Wilson followed the epileptic alcoholic Nigel (37) for six years, who slipped through the loopholes of the social security system in his hometown of Oxford for 66 months. Self-mutilation, alcohol, aggression and childish delusions make Nigel a vulnerable boy. As his social worker puts it: "Nigel has been abused financially, sexually and emotionally for years". She is referring to the time when Nigel was taken 'in the wild' under the care of Robbie during his time. This Robbie was like a father to him, but totally unsuitable as a counselor - if only because, an alcoholic himself, he couldn't keep his hands to himself.
