3rd Builders' Street plot

It is inextricably linked to the history of the Soviet Union: the megalomaniac concrete panel construction that emerged in the 1960s. At the time, these Soviet flats stood for great progress. Meanwhile, the dilapidated buildings reflect a bygone ideal of the Soviet Union. With a special photographic technique, director Pim Zwier visually separates the present, past and future of this architecture, which can still serve as a symbol for the current situation in Russia.
