Verônica plot
"A lesson in survival."
Veronica works as a teacher in a Rio de Janeiro slum and is separated from police officer Paulo. When Leandro is not picked up from school by his mother, Veronica takes him home to the slum. However, there has been a murder of Leandro's parents and she takes the boy home. There she finds on a memory card of the boy a recording of and a deal between drug dealers and corrupt police officers. Now Veronica is chased by both and tries to escape with Leandro.
