The Light Touch plot
"If she knew what he was, she'd never given him her youth and innocence!"
The genteel art thief Sam Conride (Stewart Granger) has stolen a valuable painting from a museum in Palermo. He decides to keep the cloth for himself, and tells his healer that it has been destroyed. Instead, he suggests hiring someone who can make copies of the canvas that can then be sold on the black market for a lot of money. It seems like a good plan, until Sam falls in love with the student who copies the canvases (Pier Angeli).
