"A beautiful model who became a vampire"
Mary Lynde is an innocent girl raised in Greenwich Village, New York. One of the artists there, Felix Benavente, uses her as a model when he paints a portrait of the Madonna for a church. His friend Robert Sinclair corrupts Mary so that her father throws her out of his house. She goes to live with Sinclair in his mountain cabin, but after the birth of a child, he callously casts her aside. Then her baby dies, and she sinks into the depths of despair.
