The Block plot

Violet is a dancer in the infamous 'Celebrity' club. Her friend Brand has come up with a very cunning plan. He wants to blackmail her with compromising photos. When Violet then tries to go to the police, Brand strikes. He kills her and immediately sets his sights on another victim.
