Little Joe Braun is the leader of a workers' party that has shady relationships with dubious figures. Bill Gibson, Little Joe's second husband, can testify that his boss had a conversation with a known criminal. Fearing that Gibson will betray him, Little Joe starts a smear campaign against him.
