The Advocate's Devil plot

Popular basketball star Joe Campbell (Holt McCallany) is accused of rape. Intent on breaking through, attorney Abe Ringel (Ken Olin) takes on Joe's defense. When Joe's past is unraveled, he turns out to be a less good citizen than he appears at first glance. His relationships are marked by physical and sexual abuse, rape and even murder.
